Welcome aboard Nauti Ventures Sportfishing!

Costa Rica is home to some of the world’s premier billfishing and the epicenter of Costa Rica’s fishery is the central Pacific town of Quepos. Located adjacent to Manuel Antonio National Park, Quepos is THE destination that attracts anglers from around the world who are in pursuit of all species of Marlin as well as Sailfish, Dorado (Mahi Mahi) and Yellowfin Tuna.

Nauti Ventures is your Key to unlock the renowned angling opportunities that can only be found off Quepos. Join us aboard our 40-foot Luhrs, the Nauti Ventures, that is as spotless as she is battle-tested. The Nauti Ventures is optimized for chasing down your once-in-a-lifetime blue marlin without sacrificing the comforts that you should expect from a top-tier angling operation.

During the high season, from January through April, you can release numerous sailfish on a single trip in slick-calm weather conditions only 10 to 35 miles from the dock. From May to November, our clients have the chance to pursue the elusive Billfish Grand Slam: Blue Marlin, Black Marlin, Striped Marlin and Sailfish! Blue Marlin and Black Marlin can be found within 30 miles of the marina at places like the Furuno Bank.

Keep in mind that Billfish aren’t the only Nauti kids in the neighborhood. We give our clients the opportunity to tangle with world-class (and tasty) Yellowfin Tuna, Dorado, Wahoo, Grouper, Snappers and other species…

Find The Birds, Find The Fish!

Mahi & Tuna Are Abundant in Quepos

The mahi mahi fishing has really picked up in our area, yielding some great fish up to about 35 pounds with the exceptional bull going over 40.  Finding birds and rips has been the key.  Trolling and live baiting has been getting the bites.  On the tuna front, we are finding them where we find the porpoises.  Again, on the troll has been good, but stopping and putting a live bait down amongst the action has yielded a bite ...
